Michael Murphy is the Pastor of First Baptist Church Smithville. This year - 2024 - marks my 20th year here at this great church. I am excited about what God is doing in the life children in our FBC Sonshine Academy and School.

Ana Berryann
Ana Berryann is a newly appointed member of the FBC Sonshine Academy Board of Directors. With over 25 years of leadership experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge in effective communication, mentoring and growing cohesive teams. Ana is a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas and has spent most of her career in the power industry as a structural engineer. Her commitment to serve the Lord and use her abilities to help grow the academy while integrating faith-based values into education aligns perfectly with the mission of our school.

Donna Chamblee

Donna Chamblee is a dedicated member of the FBC Sonshine Academy Board of Directors. She has 28 years of experience in education and brings her love for education and children as a board member. Donna spent the majority of her years in education as a school counselor. Although she is currently retired from education, Donna continues to work as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Sharon Chamblee
Sharon Chamblee joined The Sonshine School and Academy Board of Directors in June of 2024. She worked in the operation division at The Port of Houston Authority as an Executive Assistant focusing on statistical analysis. Sharon retired in 2020 and she and her husband, Marion, relocated to Smithville. Sharon loves telling children about Jesus and currently teachers 1st - 5th grade Sunday School at First Baptist Church Smithville.
